Breathwork & Somatic Education
I work with the nervous system, not around it. Through breathwork sessions and the Human, Slowly publication, I help people find their way back to the intelligence their bodies have always carried.
About
The body speaks constantly. It speaks in the jaw you clench before you check your bank balance, in the breath that shortens before you have consciously registered that anything is wrong, in the sigh that arrives without asking. Most of us were never taught to read it.
I trained as a breathwork facilitator and somatic educator because I kept noticing that the most important conversations were happening below the level of language. In the nervous system. In the tissue. In the pattern of holding that predates any story you have ever told about yourself.
My work draws on breathwork science, classical Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, and philosophy. Not as a credential stack, but because the body was being read long before any of us arrived and it helps to know what others saw.
Sessions
A gentle, somatic practice that interweaves breathwork with movement, self-touch, and body awareness. We use one continuous breath pattern, and within it I guide you to listen to what your body is already doing: how it wants to move, where it holds, what it needs to release through breath, sound, and touch.
No experience needed. No performance required. Suitable for everyone. This is the practice I return to most, and the one I find does the deepest work.
Book this sessionDysfunctional breathing is more common than most people realise, and more disruptive. Chronic mouth breathing, over-breathing, breath-holding under stress: these are learned patterns, and they can be unlearned.
These sessions are more instructional and more diagnostic. We assess how you breathe, identify what has shifted, and build a practice to restore functional nasal breathing from the ground up.
Book this sessionFor those who want to work with both practices in depth. We begin with the Embodied Breath to establish trust and meet your system where it is. From there we move into Functional Breathing to address any dysfunctional patterns, then return to embodied work to give those changes space to settle. The final session brings it together: a full Embodied Breath practice with time to review what has shifted in the functional work. Additional sessions remain available when the work asks for more.

The embodied breath practice was always meant to be done in company. There is something that happens in a group that a 1:1 session cannot fully replicate: the field of shared attention, the permission that comes from not being alone in the listening.

Human, Slowly — The Publication
The body has its own language and most of us have forgotten how to read it. Human, Slowly is where I practice translating. Breath, fascia, sleep, hormones, the nervous system, and what happens when you stop treating the body as a machine to be optimised. One long essay every Tuesday. One shorter thing on Fridays: a question, a practice, something to notice.
Essay · The Science Lab
On living things that don't survive translation. The moment before language is where the body lives.
